Bridging Generations - Digital Storytelling

As we age, preserving memories and sharing life experiences becomes essential—not just for ourselves, but for the generations that follow. Workshop 9: Digital Storytelling, part of the Bridging Generations program, invites seniors to collaborate with youth to transform their life stories into digital legacies using audio, video, and multimedia tools.

Objective

This workshop aims to promote cognitive engagement, emotional expression, and intergenerational connection. Seniors will work alongside tech-savvy youth to document personal histories, preserve cultural heritage, and strengthen community ties through digital storytelling.

What to Expect

🔹 One-on-One Story Collaboration: Seniors partner with youth to record, edit, and produce their personal stories.
🔹 Creative Tools & Techniques: Learn basic multimedia skills using smartphones, tablets, and accessible software.
