Bridging Generations - Relationship Building

Event Description
As meaningful relationships are at the heart of strong communities, this opening workshop sets the foundation for trust, respect, and collaboration. In an informal and welcoming setting, seniors and youth come together to meet, share stories, and begin building connections that will grow throughout the program.
Objective
Participants will engage in guided introductions and interactive activities designed to foster mutual understanding and connection. This session aims to break the ice, encourage empathy, and establish a safe and inclusive space for ongoing intergenerational learning and exchange.
What to Expect
🔹 Welcome Circle: Facilitated introductions where participants share names, interests, and fun facts.
🔹 Story Swaps: Light-hearted storytelling and memory-sharing activities to build common ground.
🔹 Team-Building Games: Simple, engaging games that encourage communication and cooperation.
